Victoria Baths Wedding Photography Styled Shoot - Unique Wedding Venue in Manchester

As I'm giving my portfolio a bit of re-jig this February I keep being drawn back to photos on this shoot. Given that we only had a few hours, I can't believe we managed to squeeze in so many of a the fantastic spots that Victoria Baths has to offer. I absolute adore this building, I've done craft fairs there with The Vintage Binding Co before, and I just walk around with my mouth open in awe of the beautiful backdrops and the history of it all.

Fforest Wedding Photorgraphy in Wales

During the quiet season at the start of the year, I often look back to weddings I've shot over the past few years, and look at what images stand out to me after some time last past. wendy and Alexx's is one wedding I re-vist often - i was at the start of my photography career and it was a fantastic wedding to attend, photograph and be part of. Friends & Family were really at the centre of the whole thing - Wendy & Alexx wanted to spend as much time with them as possible.

Photography Farm - Farm Week 2016

Both courses I was in were so unbelievably inspiring and really gave me the kick up the arse I knew I needed at the start of the year. Amy & Owen - Impromptu Couple's shoot in Frome!

Bump Shoot with the lovely Amy + 1!

One of my oldest and loveliest friends is expecting a baby next month and I absolutely jumped at the chance to photograph this wonderful point in her life. Amy lives in this beautiful little one room hut at the bottom of a garden, and I love that we chose there as a starting point for the photographs. 'Place' is very important to me in my images, giving context and strengthening the emotional connection you have to them in years to come gives them such extra value and depth. Although some things might not seem 'picture perfect' - your favourite chipped mug, a worn hand-me-down blanket, some muddy wellies - they're all things that show your past and make up another element to your life. I'll be following this post with some lovely snaps of her and her fella that we took in the afternoon!
