During the quiet season at the start of the year, I often look back to weddings I've shot over the past few years, and look at what images stand out to me after some time has past. Wendy and Alexx's was such a pleasure to revisit; I was at the start of my photography career and it was a fantastic wedding to attend, photograph and be part of. Friends & family were really at the centre of the whole thing - Wendy & Alexx wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. I thought looking back through the images I'd just be cringing at technical aspects that I would definitely do differently (and there is a bit of that - grainy dance floor shots I'm looking at you) but I am struck that it really does transport me back to the day itself, and how happy they both were. 

They chose the beautiful Fforest in Cardigan to host their weekend celebrations, and although it is quite far form their home in Manchester as soon as everyone stepped off the bus they could see why Wendy and Alexx had fallen in love with it.

Weddings at Fforest are perfect for people who want something relaxed, rustic and set in a beautiful location away from any hustle and bustle. I am dying to go back there to shoot again (I'm going in April for the wonderful SNAP photography festival, so lots of shooting  then I'm sure!) and am offering a discount for couples looking for a wedding photographer for their Fforest wedding is 2016/7.
