Photography Farm - Farm Week 2016
Last week I travelled down to Sussex to attend classes at Farm Week 2016, something I've been so looking forward to since I booked it last October. I went to the Farm Elements workshop a few years ago, to learn business bits and to master my flash, and this time I returned to learn about fusion filming (creating videos to go along side my photography). On the Monday I dragged my other half along to be photographed by the legend that is Neil Thomas Douglas, while he taught 15 other people his magical camera ways.
Both courses I was in were so unbelievably inspiring and really gave me the kick up the arse I knew I needed at the start of the year. I've come back with pages full of ideas, different things to learn, and ways to expand my business, and just can't wait to apply these to all my wonderful weddings this year. The only downside is I now have a huge list of kit/software/other courses that I desperately want to invest in...
As you'll see from above I only took a couple of snaps from my workshop, mainly because I was there to explain another avenue... FILM! Here's my little taster trailer of the day, putting my new found video & editing skills to the test...
Big thanks to Hannah Millard from Camera Hannah, and Lisa Devlin from Photography Farm!
