Lyde Arundel Wedding Venue near Hereford
Time to spread a bit of festive cheer (even though it’s sunny outside!) as feel like the world could do with it at the moment. Issy & George had a beautiful Christmas wedding on 14th December 2019 at Lyde Arundel in Hereford, which was a the perfect cosy, winter wedding venue. They picked the nicest winter day possible to get married; fresh, bright and full of excitement for the Christmas period to come. I was particularly excited because I have met Issy and George several times before (at George’s sister Alice’s wedding and Sarah & Iwan’s wedding where Issy was a bridesmaid) PLUS i’d had a rainy snap and chat with them so really it was like documenting two friends get married. On top of that I got to work with my lovely friend Laura from Curious Rose as I was filming too and it’s always fun when the dream team comes together.
These guys had put lots of thought into their decorations so I am including some more details shots that I usually would, I particularly love how they chose to honour George’s Dad, Chris, on the day with baubles that were hung on the Christmas tree in the corner. The day was filled with love, a lot of laughter and some wonderful Norwegian traditions as Issy’s family is from there and that’s where they got engaged. There was a lot of swigging from bottles and bursting into song although I am not strictly sure this part was tradition and not just pure merriment and two lovely people getting married.
