BEST OF 2017

London Wedding Photographer

I am doing this first week of February as I didn't shoot my last wedding until 30th December, and I just HAD to include some corkers from that wedding. 2017 was a fantastic year, both personally and with my work and I am so proud of how far I've come with my business in the last year. I love taking time to take stock, reflect and remember all the details and things I achieved this year to help plan the next 12 months ahead and these quieter months are the best time to do it! Last year I shot 23 glorious weddings and a whopping 21 engagement shoots, plus 8 family shoots as well. On top of this we bought a house, travelled to 9 different countries (you can see my blog on Cuba here!) and did a whole load of other fun stuff in the middle. Here's my top 50 photos from the year, this was SO difficult to whittle down! This year I really tried to focus on layering in my images more, telling different stories within one frame and also capturing those unique expressions throughout the day. I've also being trying to improve the natural couple shots, especially with those who don't find the whole camera-in-your-face thing easy (AKA 90% of my couples!). I've also done a lot more filming and can't wait to continue this year! You can see examples of my videos over here. 

And finally a huge thank you to everyone who's supported me this year - my friends & family, my couples for trusting me with documenting such an important day, the members of photography Facebook groups I'm in, the workshop leaders and speakers for imparting their knowledge, to my brilliant second shooters, and to every single person who has liked or commented on my blog and social media - I read every single one and it makes me very happy.
