Ah first wedding of the year! Always get the nerves twice as bad after a long break off from weddings, but also always feel SO rested and ready. I've been busy with engagement shoot and family sessions so it's not like the camera was gathering dust but there's always the fear that you have just totally forgotten how to do your job.

Luckily for Charlotte & Steve though that didn't happen and I had the BEST time capturing their day. A little drizzle didn't deter them from having the outdoor ceremony they'd hoped for it was beautiful, all the guests standing around by the river watching them say their I Do's under the canopy.

Mytton & Mermaid wedding venue in Shrewsbury is somewhere I really hope to come back to, they've got beautiful cottages for the getting ready in the morning, a gorgeous bridal suite and a nice, light undercover area for drinks reception too!

There were so many wonderful moments throughout the day, the moment the scout bridesmaids nearly let charlotte into the venue and realised that Steve was in the waiting room meaning they had to run round the corner sharpish was just one of them!

In the evening after we'd all been well fed and watered the brilliant Vintage Wedding DJ played the music well into the night with wonderful vintage tunes.
