Elegant Country House Wedding Venue in Shropshire
Last December I got the most wonderful invite through the post, an invitation to spend the evening at Henley Hall, a new wedding venue just outside of Ludlow. The invite promised an evening of cheese and wine and of course anyone who knows me knows that's pretty much all you need to get me somewhere. Unfortunately I didn't manage to make the evening do but I went over in the afternoon to meet the owners Helen & Sebastian and had a tour around the glamorous venue. The gorgeous light spacious dining room looks out over onto the hills of Shropshire, and I can just imagine a wedding breakfast being served there - in the summer with the sun going down and in the winter with a roasting fire to warm the guests. The ceremony room has beautiful long windows to create the perfect natural light (a photographer's dream!) and another ornate fire place to warm guests in a colder season.
There is a more intimate dining room for wedding breakfasts for smaller weddings, and also for breakfast the day of and after the wedding it's self.
