Wedding Ceremony at Petersham Hotel in Richmond followed by an intimate relaxed reception at Holly Hock Cafe
Although I'm Shropshire based and love shooting in the countryside for the most part, I also jump at the chance to photograph a wedding in the big city. It's always so different to what I'm used to - much more pressure, much more travelling and usually so many more people!
Vic & Rupert had a really relaxed and intimate wedding day on the May bank holiday, celebrating with their family and friends first at The Petersham Hotel wedding venue and then onto the gorgeously secluded Holly Hock Cafe! This area is really special to these guys as it's where they got engaged, in fact we even did a few snaps under the tree where it all happened...
The day was blissfully informal, with a buffet dinner and outdoor speeches finishing off the evening. They made me so unbelievably welcome and I genuinely did feel like an extension of their friends. All the best to these guys and their wonderful son James for the future!
