Sychpwll Centre, Powys - Eco-friendly festival wedding venue
Alternative quirky eco-friendly wedding venue in Powys, Wales
This lovely place has been on my radar since I got an enquiry for there last year, and after a quick google I found their website and instantly fell in love with the beautiful location & style of the place. There are multiple accommodation options ranging from camping to staying in their unique hobbit house, on-site showers & loos, a self-catering kitchen and acres of beautiful meadow land perfect for a festival tipi style wedding.
So, one sunny day the lovely owners kindly let me come and take a look around with my camera to get acquainted with the space (i am already planning our 10 year anniversary party here…) to snap some photos for this blog.
Venues where you can really put a stamp on your wedding are my favourite, and Sychpwll centre also boasts tons of eco credentials too, making it the perfect place to host your sustainable wedding.
There’s also plenty of parking and a river on site where your guests can hire canoes and go swimming - perfect for blowing away any post wedding hangovers! There’s two fields, a smaller 2 acre and a larger 5 acre and a spot that overlooks the gorgeous venue of Rodney’s Pillar for an outdoor ceremony as well. They’ve planted a beautiful ‘Wildlife Corridor’, a pathway surrounded by trees to get from the accommodation to the wedding field, meaning it feels like you’re entering your own little world.
Needless to say I am dying to shoot a wedding here so if you are looking for a Sychpwll Centre wedding photographer pretty please get in touch!
